Safety, Liability, and Photography

I acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions in consideration for being permitted to participate in activities organized by the South O Run Club:

  1. Assumption of Risk: I understand that participating in running activities involves certain inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, equipment failure, and the effects of weather conditions. I voluntarily assume all risks, including death or injury, associated with my participation in these activities.

  2. Physical Condition: I certify that I am physically fit and have no medical conditions that would prevent me from safely participating in running activities. I agree to inform club organizers of any medical conditions or injuries that may affect my ability to participate.

  3. Release of Liability: I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue the South O Run Club, its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, and agents (collectively, "the Released Parties") from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by me or any property belonging to me while participating in club activities, whether caused by the negligence of the Released Parties or otherwise.

  4. Indemnification: I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any loss, liability, damage, or cost, including attorney fees, they may incur arising out of or related to my participation in club activities.

  5. Media Release: I grant the South O Run Club the right to take photographs, video recordings, and/or sound recordings of me during club activities and to use such materials for promotional purposes without compensation to me.

  6. Compliance with Rules: I agree to abide by all rules and instructions established by the South O Run Club and its representatives during club activities.

I acknowledge that I have read and understood the contents of the preceding information, including the waiver, release of liability, and assumption of risk document. I am fully aware that by acknowledging this document and agree that it extends to all pets and children in my care. I am relinquishing significant rights, and I do so voluntarily.
